Combatting Trafficking in Persons (CTIP) certification refers to a genre of US compliance documents and procedures required by all US government contracts abroad valued above $550,000. The program is mandated by the US government to ensure contracts assist in combatting the trafficking of persons.
The United States Department of Defense requires all contractors of US federal contracts to complete a CTIP training course if they wish to work with the Department of Defense. The training is VITAL in order to ensure the safety of all persons within the scope the undertaken contract as well as NECESSARY to become eligible for government awards.

The mandatory minimum training for CTIP is a 1 hour training session per employee per year. The training is fully free, fully digital, and can be completed at home.
Yes! A wide-reaching, comprehensive CTIP policy and plan is required in addition to training in order to become compliant to US government regulations
CTIP training includes an approxamately 1 hour training session of videos, reading, and short answer quizzes. After, there is a 15 question quiz, in which an 80% or higher score will award the trainee with a CTIP training certificate as noted above.
